A flood warning is in place for the River Axe (Lower) from Axminster to Axmouth.
It means riverside properties and roads are at risk of flooding in that area, including Musbury, Whitford Bridge, the A3052 at Colyford and the A35 at Yarty Bridge
The warning message has been issued by the Environment Agency based on its monitoring of river and tidal levels.
People in the affected area are urged to keep an eye on local weather and river conditions, and take action if necessary.
There is also a flood alert in place for the rivers Axe, Coly, Yarty, Umborne Brook and coastal streams from Branscombe to Axmouth - meaning that flooding is possible in this zone.
