DEVON will be affected by a yellow warning of snow and ice from this evening (Tuesday, December 13).
The Met Office warning will be in place from 6pm today until 10am tomorrow (Wednesday, December 14).
Devon and the South West could be affected and snow and ice could cause travel disruption in places, the Met Office also added.

Here is what to expect according to the warning:
- Some roads and railways are likely to be affected, leading to longer journey times by car, as well as bus and train services;
- Snow and sleet falling on frozen surfaces may lead to icy conditions, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries;
- The combination of wind and snow may cause some drifting and very poor visibilities, especially over hills and moors.
