A farm shop at Cotley near Whimple is gearing up to celebrate the festive season.
Cotley Farm Christmas is only open to the public for just four weeks of the year, the family run farm originally began by selling their home-grown Christmas trees to friends and family.
Over the years, the small business has grown and alongside the Christmas trees, they now have a small herd of reindeers, a Christmas farm shop, Nativity barn, other animals and a takeaway cafe.
Alongside seeing the reindeer and other animals at the farm, there is the great selection of locally grown Christmas Trees to choose from. With different sizes and varieties, even pot grown trees. There’s also a selection of stands, lights and Christmas decorations to adorn your tree.
The farm is hosting lots of festive events running throughout November and December. Starting with the tasting evening on Friday November 25, you can try samples of local food and drinks. There is also a wreath and garland making workshop and a festive flower demonstration with the wonderful Sarah Pepper on December 6 and December 14.
You simply book your arrival time and with visitor numbers being well managed, the experience is the best it can be! Tickets cost £6 a car, of which £5 is refunded if you purchase one of their lovely Christmas Trees.
