CARPENTER GEORGE WILLIAM, died peacefully on 27th January 2020. Beloved friend of Betty Short. Railway engineer and enthusiast, and Francophile, extraordinaire. Funeral service to be held at All Saints Church, Smallridge, on FRIDAY 14th FEBRUARY at 11 a.m. followed by burial at Axminster Town Cemetery. Flowers or if desired donations to the Institution of Mechanical Engineers Benevolent Fund C/O J.F.Clarke & Son Lyme Road, Axminster EX13 5BE or at the service.
