BATES EDWIN (known as Ed/Ted to friends) of Dares Orchard, Colyford, passed away peacefully on 24th April after a short illness. He was a devoted and much loved husband of 68 years to Ruby, father to Linda and Peter and grandfather to 5 grandsons and a great-grandfather.
