WALTER CHARLES LOVE

LOVE WALTER CHARLES, b.19/04/1920 in North Street, Axminster and died, still enjoying life, very peacefully in his sleep on 24/06/2020 at Silverleigh Nursing Home, Axminster. He retired as a Sergeant Major from the 1939 - 1945 war in which he served in Italy and Austria but otherwise lived his full 100 years in Axminster, his family home for generations. After the war he worked as a carpet weaver at Axminster Carpet Factory until his retirement in 1985. Devoted husband of Connie (died 2008), he is survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren by whom he is eternally cherished. Private funeral at East Devon Crematorium on 10th July (web stream available). Family flowers only.
