The long-awaited Domino's store at 86 Honiton High Street will be opening its doors next Monday.

The pizza chain was meant to open on Monday March 25, but it was delayed due to 'operational issues beyond the manager's control.'

When the store opening didn't take place in March, the business promised residents a free item for each day it was late.

A spokesman said: "That's 84 free items. If you would like to win one of these,drop your name in the comments on their latest Facebook post and I will pick names at random, and send you a code."

The store will be open seven days a week from 11am - 11pm and is currently recruiting for roles, including shift managers, pizza-makers, and delivery drivers.

Bali Baines, Area Manager of the Honiton store said: “We’re excited to come to Honiton, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza. We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Honiton can grow and develop their careers. Over 90 percent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”

The store will be running competitions to win free pizza for a year via their Facebook page. and are selling £6 large pizzas if you sign up to the V.I.P club here.

The store is celebrating with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11am on the 17th  of June, where community members and customers are invited to meet the new store team and of course, try some freshly prepared Domino’s pizza.
