A casual vacancy has opened up for St Michael's Ward on Honiton Town Council. The vacancy notice was published on April 16.
A Honiton Town Council spokesperson said: "A casual vacancy exists in the office of Town Councillor for St Michael's Ward, Honiton.
"Any ten electors for the electoral area may give notice requesting that an election be held to fill this vacancy within fourteen days of publication of the notice."
This follows a recent by-election on April 11 to elect a new councillor to the ward.
Melvyn Baldock was elected with 408 votes, beating John Taylor at 197, with 14 spoilt ballots and a turnout of 11.6 percent.
