A parade, a two-minute silence and a church service were observed in Honiton to mark Remembrance Sunday.
The parade formed at The Star on New Street at 2.15pm. Then set off at 2.30pm and marched towards St. Paul's Church for a service at 3pm.
The Royal British Legion, local veterans of war and local youth groups including the 1064 Air Cadet Squadron, the 1st Honiton Brownies among others.
Wreaths were also lain on the war memorial from local groups paying their respects to members of the Armed Forces injured in wars.
Organiser Richard Harker said: "Thank you everyone for your support today at the Remembrance Parade and service at the war memorial. It was a great turn off out from Veterans UK as well as cadets, fire service, police force, ambulance service, scouts and guides groups."
The Axminster Parade went from South Street car-park at 10.00am through the town to the war memorial at the Minster Green, where the wreath laying, and Act of Remembrance began in the church. The event was well attended by local dignitaries and residents giving them a chance to pay their respects to the war dead.
